4 Layer Cake

This delicious 4-layer dessert starts with a buttery, golden crust that adds the perfect amount of crunch. It's followed by a creamy, layer of cream cheese blended with cool whip, creating a smooth and airy texture. Next comes a luscious pudding layer—you can choose between rich chocolate or sweet butterscotch for a burst of flavor. Finally, it's topped off with a generous layer of cool whip for a light, fluffy finish. Easy to make and irresistibly yummy, it's a perfect treat for any occasion!

4 Layer Cake

1 st layer:

1 1⁄4 cups flour

1 stick butter, softened

1⁄2 cup chopped nuts (I typically don't use)

2nd layer:

8 oz. cream cheese softened

16oz. cool whip (only use 1/2 for this layer)

1 cup powdered sugar

3rd layer:

2 boxes instant pudding (Use the flavor you like the best) We use butterscotch or chocolate

3 cups milk

4th layer:

Use remaining cool whip

Directions:

Layer 1: Mix ingredients together & place in an ungreased 9x13 pan. Pat down tight. Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes at 350. Let crust cool

Layer 2: Mix ingredients together and spread on top of cooled crust. If it's hard to spread, use a spatula dipped in water.

Layer 3: Mix the pudding mix and milk. Once it has thickened a bit, then pour over the second layer.

Layer 4: Spread remaining cool whip on top after the 3rd layer has set.

Enjoy!
